Inters(p)ections is an interdisciplinary reading group based at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, and generously funded by the Graduate Studies Endowment Fund (GSEF) for its first year.

Inters(p)ections is dedicated to examining depictions of race, sex, racism, sexism, gender, sexuality, and disability in speculative fiction. Other topics may include womanism and intersectionality in speculative fiction, standpoint theory, the effects of technology on current events, and teaching speculative fiction.
